ROTTERDAM, the Netherlands – Technip has contracted Damen Shiprepair Rotterdam (DSR) to perform upgrades and modifications to the deepwater s-lay/heavy-lift vesselGlobal 1200.
The vessel arrived at DSR’s yard last month. It was designed by Ulstein Sea of Solutions and built by Singapore-basedKeppel Singmarine.
The main upgrade works are split into three packages:
Dry-docking for a Special Periodical Survey and various maintenance/repair duties
Modifications to upgrade the vessel’s DP capability
