Kongsberg to equip jackup vessels with control package

Kongsberg Maritime will supply a range of equipment for two new jackup vessels ordered by Singapore-based Vahana Offshore.

KONGSBERG, Norway – Kongsberg Maritime will supply a range of equipment for two new jackup vessels ordered by Singapore-based Vahana Offshore.
The vessel constructor Eversendai Offshore RMC FZE (Shipyard) in RAK Maritime City, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, commissioned the electro, instrument and telecom (EIT), propulsion, safety, automation and dynamic positioning package.
The systems will be installed on the two Gusto NG-2500X DP II design, offshore construction vessels.
Kongsberg’s workscope includes integration services.
