Prosafe semisub vessel starts work in GoM

The Safe Concordia semisubmersible accommodation support vessel is on hire in the US Gulf.

The Safe-Concordia vessel was constructed at Keppel FELS shipyard in Singapore and delivered in March 2005 before completing an upgrade in July 2015.

STAVANGER, Norway— Prosafe's Safe Concordia has, as planned, successfully started the firm contract period of 330 days with up to six months of options on Aug. 9 with a major operator in the US Gulf of Mexico.

Interim CEO Reese McNeel said, “Prosafe is exceptionally pleased that the upgrades and preparations conducted on the Safe Concordia have been successfully completed and that the vessel commenced the contract within the scheduled mobilization window.”
