James Fisher takes Edda vessel for North Sea IRM duties

ABERDEEN, UK  James Fisher Subtech (JF Subtech) has agreed to charter Østensjø Rederi’s Edda Savanah IRM and construction vessel on an exclusive basis.

The vessel will mobilize next month for IRM programs in the North Sea and Irish Sea.

It will be fitted with a James Fisher-owned work class ROV, observation class ROVs and an air dive spread, as well as offering a 150-metric ton crane and a daughter craft, located in the center of the vessel to increase stability during launch and recovery.

Internal reconfiguration work should finish shortly on the DP2 vessel, which was built in 2017. It is 97 m long, with capacity for 100 passengers.
