ABERDEEN, UK— NXG Drilling Services has released the NXG-MACS (Multi-Activation Circulating Sub), designed to cut rig time and address operational constraints.
CEO Rod Coffey said, “The NXG-MACS offers on-demand activation, without the need to drop a ball or dart. This can lead to a significantly quicker operation and, in turn, deliver substantial cost savings in terms of rig time.
“The 6¾-in. version of the tool is now ready to go following thorough testing, and we have several trial runs lined up.”
The company’s engineering team designed the tool at its facility in Ness Point, Altens Industrial Estate.
