ADNOC hires more jackups from drilling services division

Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. has awarded ADNOC Drilling a $980 million contract to supply two jackup offshore rigs and associated manpower and equipment.

ABU DHABI, UAE  Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (ADNOC) has awarded ADNOC Drilling a $980 million contract to supply two jackup offshore rigs and associated manpower and equipment.

These will support expansion of the state oil company’s production capacity, and this lifts the total value of awards this year from ADNOC Offshore to ADNOC Drilling to $5.95 billion.

Recently ADNOC Drilling received a $1.52 billion order for the provision of jackup and island rigs and associated drilling services, also securing two awards in August valued at $3.43 billion for the supply of eight jackups.
