DUBAI, UAE – A Vantage Holdings International subsidiary has agreed to manage the Aquadrill harsh-environment semisubmersible Aquarius.
Vantage CEO Ihab Toma said: “We are delighted that Aquadrill have placed their trust in the Vantage Management platform, to market, re-activate, and operate the Aquarius.
“Since commencing to manage Aquadrill fleet in May 21, we have assisted in the recycling and repurposing of two units, have contracted the [drillship] Capella with Premier and Repsol in Indonesia, and are actively bidding the [drillship] Polaris and now the Aquarius.”
According to Aquadrill’s most recent fleet status report, the 2009-built Aquarius is in Canada.
