    LOC to survey two SBM Offshore floaters

    LONDON – SBM Offshore has contracted LOC Group to act as marine warranty surveyor (MWS) on two FPSO projects offshore South America.

    The FPSOs will be deployed offshore Brazil and Guyana. LOC will provide MWS services for the transportation and installation operations relating to the FPSO on one of the projects, and the FPSO topsides on the other.

    The design of both FPSOs is based on SBM Offshore’s Fast4Ward program. This incorporates the company’s newbuild, multi-purpose hull combined with several standardized topsides modules.
