BERGEN, Norway – Petrobras has contracted three DOF anchor handler tug supply vessels to support its exploration and production activities offshore Brazil.
The Skandi Urca and Skandi Fluminense have received 2+2-year contracts that are expected to start in September 2020. The Skandi Paraty has won a one-year contract that began earlier this month.
The Brazilian built AHTS vessels are all equipped with work class ROVs for operations in 3,000 m (9,842 ft) water depth.
The vessels are owned and operated by Norskan, and DOF Subsea Brasil will be responsible for the ROV operations. Both companies are 100% owned subsidiaries of DOF ASA.
