BSP contracts AqualisBraemar for Brunei rig inspections

OSLO, NorwayBrunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) has awarded AqualisBraemar a three-year frame agreement to provide rig inspection services.

The arrangement carries options for three one-year extensions.

AqualisBraemar – the result of the recent merger between Aqualis Offshore and Braemar Technical Services – will manage the contract from its office in Malaysia, supported by other offices in the Asia/Pacific region where needed.

The company provides customized rig inspection and acceptance programs for drillships, semisubmersibles and jackups of all generations, including reviews of well control, dynamic positioning and integrated control management systems.
