Allseas’ Audacia has started pipelay duties offshore Germany for the Nord Stream 2 trunkline system through the Baltic Sea.

LUBMIN, Germany – Allseas’Audacia has started pipelay duties offshore Germany for the Nord Stream 2 trunkline system through the Baltic Sea.
It joins Saipem’sCastoro Dieci on the German route section.
TheAudacia started its installation program at the end of the 30-km (18.6-mi) trench of the twin pipeline system, and will be lay pipes for around 38 km (23.6 mi) over a deeper-water section of the route.
After completing work on the first line, the vessel will return to the starting point to continue laying the second line, completing its works in German waters by the end of this year.
