Subsea 7 clinches ROV support

(Aberdeen) Subsea 7 i-Tech, formed recently to provide ROV and intervention services for the drilling industry, has won four long-term contracts from Petrobras. These involve providing ROVs onboard four drilling rigs over four years, with options for extensions of up to eight years in each case. The new Subsea 7 division employs over 400 personel worldwide, with a dedicated fleet of over 60 ROVs.
