In this series of three separate articles,Offshore magazine presents a status report on three separate, practical applications of leading-edge subsea technology. Each of the following draws from presentations made at the Deep Offshore Technology International Conference in Perth, Western Australia, and on a related webcast aired last month (April 2009). To hear the presentations in their entirety, the webcast is available online at www.offshore-mag.com.
As a further reference,Offshore published the second-ever Worldwide Survey of Subsea Processing: Separation, Compression, and Pumping Systems poster in its March 2009 issue along with an overview introduction.
