TechnipFMC clinches long-term subsea equipment agreement with Chevron

Chevron Australia has awarded TechnipFMC a 20-year framework agreement concerning provision of Subsea 2.0 configure-to-order subsea production systems for gas field developments offshore northwest Australia.

HOUSTON  Chevron Australia has awarded TechnipFMC a 20-year framework agreement concerning provision of Subsea 2.0 configure-to-order subsea production systems for gas field developments offshore northwest Australia.

The agreement covers wellheads, tree systems, manifolds, controls, flexible jumpers and flying leads.

Jonathan Landes, president, Subsea at TechnipFMC, said, "Subsea 2.0 is field-proven technology, which reduces engineering complexity and shortens lead times.”

TechnipFMC will manufacture the production systems at its Subsea 2.0 complex in Nusajaya, Malaysia.
