INPEX retains Expro for Ichthys LNG subsea services

Expro has secured a contract extension to supply well test and subsea services for the INPEX-operated Ichthys LNG project.

READING, UK – Expro has secured a contract extension to supply well test and subsea services for the INPEX-operated Ichthys LNG project offshore northwest Australia.
The company will continue to supply a high rate 175 MMscf/d well testing package, which will include enhanced electronic emergency shut down systems.
Expro will also supply 7 3/8-in. high debris valves, developed as part of the Next Generation Landing String program, designed and tested to the industry’s new API 17G standard.
Work on the next phase of field development is due to start in March 2020.
