Dolphin Drilling has issued an operations update for its semisubmersible drilling rig fleet.
In the UK central North Sea, the Paul B. Loyd, on long-term contract to Harbour Energy, completed operations on the North West Seymour well before relocating to drill the Gilderoy exploration well, which led to a discovery.
The Blackford Dolphin completed its voyage from Nigeria to India, where it has since started a new drilling campaign.
In Las Palmas, Gran Canaria Island, Dolphin has paused class renewal works on the Borgland Dolphin following EnQuest’s decision to cancel a multi-well contract for the Kraken field development in the UK’s East Shetland basin.
The overhaul program will resume once Dolphin has secured a new contract for the rig.
