Chevron Australia charters two Maersk Supply Service vessels

Chevron Australia has contracted two Maersk Supply Service’s newbuild anchor handling tug supply vessels to support the Gorgon Stage Two drilling program.

LYNGBY, DenmarkChevron Australia has contracted two Maersk Supply Service’s newbuild anchor handling tug supply vessels to support the Gorgon Stage Two drilling program.

TheMaersk Marinerand Maersk Master will provide towing, anchor handling, supply, and WROV services for the program in the North West Shelf of Western Australia starting in 2Q 2019.

TheMaersk Marinerand Maersk Master have been working in Western Australia since September 2017 and March 2018, respectively, where they will remain until the contract starts.

Throughout the program both vessels will be operated by local crews and supported from Maersk Supply Service’s Perth shorebase.
