HOOFDDORP, the Netherlands – CNOOC Energy Technology & Services (CenerTech) has awarded Bluewater Energy Services B.V. an EPC contract for the Lufeng 12-3 FPSO’s internal turret mooring system.
South Korean operator SK Innovation will deploy the FPSO at the Lufeng 12-3 field offshore China.
The newbuild FPSO will be designed to accommodate 80 people and to supply power to the field’s wellhead platform. It is expected to have an oil storage capacity of 650,000 bbl and production capacity of 70,000 b/d of fluids.
The floater, which is scheduled for completion in 2023, will be turret moored in 240 m (787 ft) of water.
