LUXEMBOURG – Petrobras has awarded Subsea 7 new long-term day-rate contracts offshore Brazil for three pipelay support vessels.
The Seven Waves, Seven Rio, and Seven Sun will each operate for three firm years with an option for a one-year extension.
Early next year, the Seven Waves’ new contract will take effect, followed by the Seven Rio’s in 2Q 2022 and Seven Sun’s in 3Q.
The remaining period of the Seven Waves’ and Seven Rio’s current contracts will be transferred to Seven Seas which will be deployed to Brazilian waters next year.
