KONGSBERG, Norway – Kongsberg Maritime has signed a letter of intent with Brodosplit Shipyard and DIV Group in Croatia concerning a newbuild subsea construction vessel.
Triumph Subsea Services has commissioned the ST-269 vessel, with an option for three more vessels of the same design.
This will provide turnkey services for most subsea construction tasks required by the offshore oil and gas, decommissioning, renewable energy, and subsea telecoms sectors.
Kongsberg’s involvement covers equipment related to the engines, thrusters, deck machinery, electrical and control systems.
Triumph will install a bridge designed with an ergonomic interface, fuel-optimized solutions, digital technology, and a proven thruster configuration.
These will also be the first offshore construction vessels to incorporate Kongsberg’s Safety Management Control System, greatly enhancing crew safety.
