Equinor retains intervention vessel offshore Norway

Equinor has secured approval from Norway’s Petroleum Safety Authority for continued use of the intervention vessel Island Wellserver in 2021.

OSLO, Norway – Equinor has secured approval from Norway’s Petroleum Safety Authority for continued use of the intervention vessel Island Wellserver in 2021.

This applies to light well interventions on fields in the North Sea, Norwegian Sea, and Barents Sea.

Island Offshore owns the Norwegian-flagged, DNV GL-classed vessel, which was built in 2008.
