Solstad to support BP’s Ironbark well offshore Australia

BP Developments Australia has contracted Solstad Offshore to support the Ironbark exploration well offshore Western Australia.

SKUDENESHAVN, Norway – BP Developments Australia has contracted Solstad Offshore to support the Ironbark exploration well offshore Western Australia.

The anchor handler tug vessels Normand Saracen and Far Senator and platform supply vessel Normand Leader will assist the semisubmersible Ocean Apex throughout the 90-day campaign in the Carnarvon basin.

This will be BP’s first drilling program in Australia for years, Solstad added. All the vessels will operate from Dampier.
