Cognitive Business will shortly introduce the AI-powered Virtual Engineer service for offshore wind farm operators.
This service is designed to provide operators with real-time insights on their developments so they can improve performance and streamline maintenance of their facilities.
CTO Thomas Humphries said, “Integrating Cognitive's advanced machine learning with AI enables real-time operator interaction, as such we’re enabling a new level of efficiency in offshore wind farm management.”
Operators will be able to use Virtual Engineer to identify potential maintenance requirements and optimize the performance of wind turbines, the company said. The intuitive approach to data-driven decision-making is said to enable detection and prediction of issues before they impact performance.
Via the intuitive interface, operators can ask questions concerning asset health, energy output, maintenance timelines and so on, with the service providing actionable answers in real time, Cognitive said.
