Van Oord contracted Fugro to provide construction support for offshore wind farms across Europe for three years, with an option to extend.
Fugro will deploy and supply ROVs, construction equipment, specialist teams and related services onboard Van Oord’s Calypso and Subsea Viking vessels.
The company will support cable lay, trenching and survey operations, providing geo-data to inform positioning and construction of facilities to de-risk the projects and also to optimize future operations.
Fugro’s ROV spreads will be housed permanently on the vessels throughout the duration of the contract.
