TAIPEI, Taiwan — The Zhong Neng wind farm offshore Taiwan has delivered first power.
Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and China Steel Corp. are responsible for the 300-MW development, the second wind farm offshore Taiwan, to fulfill high localization requirements after the recently inaugurated Changfang-Xidao (600 MW).
One-third of the wind turbines have been installed at Zhong Neng with all offshore installation work set to conclude in the third quarter, followed by full grid connection by year-end.
