2H nets structural integrity contract for North Sea Moray West wind project

2H has won a four-year integrity management contract to support the Moray West offshore wind farm in the UK central North Sea.

ABERDEEN, UK2H has won a four-year integrity management contract to support the Moray West offshore wind farm in the UK central North Sea.

Ocean Winds, a 50:50 joint venture between EDP Renewables and ENGIE, is responsible for the development.

2H’s integrity management scope covers all balance of plant equipment, including the wind turbine generators’ monopile foundations and tower structures, inter-array and export cables, and offshore and onshore substations.

The company will formulate and implement integrity plans for the structural and electrical equipment at the site, with a view to optimizing operating costs and preserving the condition of the facilities.

2H in Aberdeen will manage the program. The company’s Clarus division will provide its digital integrity management software, iCUE, to ensure operational data management and visualization of system health. 

Vekta Group, based in Edinburgh, will supply specialist expertise for Balance of Plant electrical and high-voltage equipment.
