CERGY, France — SPIE Global Services Energy, the international subsidiary of the SPIE Group, has formed a new Wind Power division, following its recent acquisition of the offshore wind specialist Correll Group.
The company is expanding its service for power line termination and management of submarine high-voltage links for connecting wind farms.
Correll will also allow it to expand its geographical coverage to the US East Coast.
SPIE aims to provide offshore wind power services both to this region and the North Sea and Asia-Pacific.
