Plenitude joins Spanish floating offshore wind venture

MADRID, SpainEni affiliate Plenitude has agreed to enter the offshore wind consortium in Spain between BlueFloat and Sener Renewable Investments.

Their portfolio currently comprises about 1.25 GW of floating offshore wind projects off Galicia, in the northwest (Parque Nordés), Catalonia in the east (Parc Tramuntana), and off the Canary Islands (Parque Tarahal).

Plenitude presently manages 430 MW of operating solar PV and onshore wind power projects, with a further 1 GW of projects under construction and more than 2 GW in development.

The company, which operates in 15 countries, aims to have 7 GW of capacity in place by 2026 and more than 15 GW by 2030.
