Ventus Energy will provide senior authorized persons to provide electrical engineering support for the Dogger Bank wind farm in the southern UK North Sea.

NORTH SHIELDS, UK— Ventus Energy will provide senior authorized persons to provide electrical engineering support for the Dogger Bank wind farm in the southern UK North Sea.
Under the three-year contract Ventus will make eight engineers available at all times, each responding to site for 400-kV operations. Although the terms primarily cover emergency works, Ventus specialists also will be available for planned operations.
Dogger Bank is a joint venture between SSE Renewables (40%), Equinor (40%) and Vårgrønn (20%). SSE Renewables operates the development and construction phase with Equinor taking over on completion for the development’s anticipated lifespan of about 35 years.
