Offshore staff
PARIS, France – BlueFloat Energy and Renantis have named DORIS principal designer for their Broadshore and Bellrock floating offshore wind farm projects in the central UK North Sea.
Broadshore is 50 km north of Fraserburgh, northeast Scotland, while Bellrock is 130 km east of Aberdeen. Their combined capacity is up to 2.1 GW; both licenses were awarded under the 2022 ScotWind leasing round.
The partnership has since bid successfully in Scotland’s INTOG leasing round, with two 99.45-MW innovation projects, Sinclair and Scaraben, both adjacent to the planned Broadshore development.
DORIS will apply its experience in construction, design and management (CDM) 2015 regulations to plan, manage, monitor and coordinate design risk management activities; support contractor selection and appointments; and ensure CDM and HSEQ management system compliance during the projects’ pre-construction phases through to final investment decision.
