MONACO — Eneti subsidiary Seajacks UK has signed a reservation agreement for its Seajacks Zaratan offshore wind turbine installation/maintenance NG 5500 vessel.
If converted to a contract, the vessel would work for five to six months in the Asia-Pacific region, starting in second-quarter 2024.
Estimated revenue after project costs could be up to €38 million ($41.2 million).
Seajacks Zaratan, which can operate in waters up to 55 m deep, is 109 m long with a breadth of 41 m, a main deck area of 2,000 sq m and a main crane capacity of 800 t.
Its maximum jacking load is 5,500 t, with a turbine carrying capacity of 9.5MW.
