Aker Solutions orders KenzFigee crane for North Sea converter station

KenzFigee will provide an offshore pedestal crane to Aker Solutions for installation on the HVDC converter station for the East Anglia THREE wind farm.

The expected delivery of the Ram Luffing offshore crane is scheduled for the second quarter in 2024.

ZAANDAM, the Netherlands — KenzFigee will provide an offshore pedestal crane to Aker Solutions for installation on the HVDC converter station for the East Anglia THREE wind farm in the UK southern North Sea.

The scope of supply includes an electric hydraulic box boom offshore Ram Luffing 2400 type designed and manufactured by KenzFigee.

The crane will be compliant with EN13852-1 regulations and certified to DNVGL-ST-0378 lifting requirements, and it will be assembled and tested at KenzFigee’s premises in The Netherlands.

Delivery is scheduled for second-quarter 2024.
