The project, targeting 3.2 GW of electricity production by 2027, is in the first phase of permitting, with the grid connection and environmental impact assessments underway. Once the production units are fully operational, more than 1 GW will be green hydrogen.
Seawind is a turnkey provider of fixed bottom and floating offshore wind farms. Aquaterra Energy will provide offshore engineering and green hydrogen production experience.
The partners aim to transport the green hydrogen to the shore via pipeline or by vessels to global markets.
