MILAN, Italy – Prysmian Group plans to develop a new submarine power cable plant in Brayton Point, Massachusetts.
Final acquisition of the site remains subject to securing state permits for construction of the new plant, estimated to cost around $200 million.
Finalization also entails confirmation by Avangrid Renewables of the award of contracts for cabling the Commonwealth Wind and Park Wind City offshore wind projects, with a total value of around $900 million.
