SAN DONATO MILANESE, Italy – Eni has signed an agreement to collaborate on bids for offshore wind areas in Poland.
The company’s Eni gas e luce division, to be renamed Plenitude in 2022, is extending its existing offshore wind partnership with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) to the Polish sector.
Poland’s offshore wind act has created conditions for development of more than 10 GW offshore wind capacity by 2030.
Eni/CIP will apply for seabed permits in order to participate in contract-for-difference auctions, expected to be held during 2025 and 2027.
