bp, Seatrium extend cooperation to Tiber FPU in the GoM

Seatrium has signed a memorandum of understanding with bp Exploration & Production for the Tiber floating production unit (FPU) in the US Gulf of Mexico (GoM).
As announced in late December 2024, Seatrium will perform engineering, procurement, construction and onshore commissioning (EPCC) work for the Kaskida FPU project.

This would involve performing engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) of the platform, which would feature technologies designed for improved operational efficiency and safety.
The deepwater Tiber discovery is 300 miles southwest of New Orleans in the Keathley Canyon area. bp and Seatrium will jointly devise initial works and the EPCC scope ahead of FID, which is expected later this year.
