HOUSTON – Trendsetter Engineering Inc. says that it has been awarded a contract to support the development of Beacon Offshore Energy LLC’s Shenandoah project located offshore Gulf of Mexico.

Trendsetter’s awarded scope includes a multi-year rental and servicing agreement for the provision of a 20,000 psi subsea well intervention package with anticipated delivery of the system scheduled for 3Q 2023. This award follows previously awarded scopes for the initial design and qualification of the system.

The company will provide its Trident intervention system, which Trendsetter says is suitable for offshore mobilization to a vessel of opportunity and capable of rapid re-configuration to facilitate hydraulic, riserless light well, and risered medium well subsea intervention operations.

Trendsetter says that its support of the Shenandoah field extends beyond the delivery of the Trident intervention system. Earlier this year, the company was awarded contracts to deliver certain components of the subsea production and export equipment, including a six-slot production manifold, subsea valves, and its TCS connectors.
