Throughout the project, Sevan SSP has assisted with the preparations and execution of the transport and installation.
The Sevan 400 design platform has a processing capacity of 45,000 bbl/d and a storage capacity of 400,000 bbl. Fluor contracted the FPSO, which was built in China, followed by completion and commissioning at Aibel’s yard in Haugesund, Norway.
Shell operates Penguins under a 50:50 partnership with NEO Energy.
