TotalEnergies EP Denmark has awarded the Shelf Drilling Winner jackup a new 17-month contract in the Danish North Sea, set to start in March 2025. Value for the firm period is about $68 million, with two seven-month extension options. The new program will take effect on completion of the rig’s current operations in Denmark. It should then become available in August 2026.
At the redeveloped Tyra complex, also in the Danish North Sea, the Tyra West platform is ready to start operations with all the wells unplugged, while more than 50% of the Tyra East wells are also unplugged.
Hookup and commissioning has finished on the Tyra satellite fields, Roar, Tyra South East, Harald and Valdemar. Temporary production from Harald should begin shortly, initially supporting the Tyra commissioning program.
BlueNord expects an imminent part-resumption of gas exports from Tyra with plateau production to follow during the fourth quarter.
