NORTH PERTH, Australia — Hartshead Resources has entered an agreement with Shell UK concerning a phased development of two gas fields in the UK southern North Sea.
The agreement details the key commercial terms for the transportation and processing of Hartshead’s Phase I gas field production.
This will be exported to the Shell infrastructure via a planned, Hartshead-owned pipeline and subsea connection. The gas will then head to Shell’s Leman Alpha platform before being delivered to the Bacton Gas Terminal in Norfolk, eastern England for processing and delivery to the UK National Gas Transmission System.
Fully termed agreements, which will cover any required brownfield modifications as part of the gas offtake route for the Anning and Somerville field, will progress in parallel with the FEED and final field development plan submission to the UK government.
