Waldorf strikes deal to buy MOL UK North Sea interests

ABERDEEN, UK – Waldorf Production has agreed to acquire MOL UK’s production interests in the UK North Sea.
These include non-operated stakes of 20% in the Greater Catcher Area, 50% in the Scolty and Crathes fields and 21.83% in the Scott and 1.59% in the Telford licenses, all in the central UK North Sea.
Waldorf expects to complete the transaction in the second half of this year.
CEO Erik Brodahl estimated that the acquisition would lift the company’s production to around 34,000 boe/d and its reserves to 66.5 MMboe.
“Waldorf continues to look for further growth opportunities building on its resilient non-operated North Sea production base in the near-term,” he added.
