STAVANGER, Norway – Equinor is exercising options for framework agreements for maintenance and modification services for all its Norwegian offshore and onshore installations.
The agreements, originally signed in 2015-2016, will continue for three more years from March 1, 2023, with a total estimated value for the exercised options of around NOK11.5 billion ($1.3 billion).
Wood’s extension, valued at around $170 million, involves continued support for the Snorre A, Snorre B, Grane, Visund and Martin Linge facilities in the North Sea, and includes devising measures to improve efficiency and assessing opportunities to decarbonize production.
Aibel’s NOK5.5-billion ($621-million) extension covers maintenance and modifications services on the Norwegian continental shelf.
Aker Solutions’ extension to its maintenance and modifications frame agreement will provide work for its operations in Trondheim, Bergen, and Stavanger.
The company will manage the program form its offices in Trondheim.
