LONDON – Viaro Energy has issued an update on its activities in the North Sea in 2021.
These included:
Completion of various field interests from SSE and HaLO, doubling its reserves
Signing an agreement to sell its stake in Foinaven west of Shetland to bp
Drilling of five wells on the Arran, Grove, and AB Unit fields
Start-up of production at Arran in the UK central North Sea last September.
Viaro is now a partner in over 30 assets on the UK and Dutch continental shelves, with production forecast to be over 33,000 boe/d.
CEO Francesco Mazzagatti said: “We have established a very strong production base and continue to seek opportunities to add to our portfolio further as we seek further growth in the UK and Netherlands.”
