Lime set to join Norwegian CO2 storage initiative

OSLO, NorwayLime Petroleum has entered an agreement with Nautilus Carbon Services to participate in a carbon capture and storage development.

The agreement is connected to the first phase of a project involving various other partners, the aim of which is to secure a storage site on the Norwegian continental shelf for injection of CO2 and permanent storage.

Phase I will include R&D work to develop and outline and describe the methodology and possible locations the storage site.

The partners would then initiate Phase II, with a view to securing an exploitation license on the NCS.
