Offshore staff
ABERDEEN, UK – Wood has secured a three-year operations and maintenance contract in the southern North Sea from Shell UK and Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij.
The focus will include assessing ways of cutting costs and extending production life across all the offshore and onshore facilities in the UK and Dutch sectors.
Wood will create a new regional base in the Great Yarmouth area to support the program.
Around 120 Wood employees will work on the facilities, including the Clipper and Leman fields in the UK sector, the Bacton gas terminal in Norfolk, the Kroonborg and Kasteelborg vessels and the Seafox 4 barge.
