Offshore staff
LONDON – Britain’s Oil and Gas Authority has formally awarded Jersey Oil & Gas the merged license P2498 in the UK central North Sea, initially offered last year under the UK’s 32nd Offshore Licensing Round.
It incorporates part block 20/5e within JOG’s Greater Buchan Area (GBA) development acreage, also containing an extension of the J2 (well 20/05a-10Y) oil discovery.
P2498 covers the Buchan oil field and J2 and forms the basis of JOG’s planned GBA Core development.
