Aramco lengthens Saipem long-term construction arrangement

Saipem has signed a renewal with Saudi Aramco of its long-term agreement (LTA) in Saudi Arabia until year-end 2027.

Saipem Taqa Al-Rushaid Fabricators Co. (STAR) is a limited liability partnership between Taqa Al-Rushaid for Marine Works co. Ltd. and Saipem International BV. STAR fabricates and loads out offshore facilities from a 500,000+ square meter fabrication yard built to adhere to international standards.
Saipem has signed a renewal with Saudi Aramco of its long-term agreement (LTA) in Saudi Arabia until year-end 2027.
The company is one of the contractors chosen by Aramco to bid for Contract Release Purchase Orders, which are contracts related to construction of new projects or others designed to sustain production from Aramco’s offshore fields.
Any contracts awarded under the LTA would be conducted by a consortium between Saipem subsidiary Snamprogetti Saudi Arabia and Saipem Taqa Al-Rushaid Fabricators (STAR), using a local fabrication yard in Saudi Arabia that was established in 2008.
