TEHRAN, Iran – Iran and Azerbaijan have agreed to collaborate in future oil and gas programs, according to news service Shana.

Javad Owji, Iran’s Minister of Petroleum, signed documents with Shahin Mustafayev, Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan.

According to Owji, one focus of the negotiations is on development of oil and gas fields in the Caspian Sea, and related agreements could be signed in the next few weeks.
