MEXICO CITY – Eni reports that the Miamte FPSO started hydrocarbon production at the Miztón field, within the Development Project in Area 1 in the Gulf of Mexico, approximately 10 kilometers offshore Tabasco coast.
Upon its arrival in Mexico in January 2022, the Miamte FPSO was connected to its mooring system and went through pre-commissioning and integrated commissioning activities.
Following the first hydrocarbon introduction into the FPSO and two more platforms start-up in Amoca and Tecoalli fields, production will ramp up until full field development will be completed by 2024.
Eni says that the Miamte FPSO has an oil treatment capacity of 90,000 barrels of oil per day, with a gas treatment capacity of 75 MMscfd.
