MUMBAI, India – Larsen & Toubro division L&T Energy Hydrocarbon (LTEH) will perform India’s first decommissioning program for offshore platforms.
Under a contract awarded by Shell subsidiary British Gas Exploration and Production India Ltd. (BGEPL) in late November, the company will provide engineering, preparation, removal and transportation of five wellhead platforms and associated facilities at the Tapti Field offshore India’s west coast.
These are operated by a joint venture between BGEPL, ONGC and RIL.
In addition, LTEH has a new order from ONGC for its Pipeline Replacement Project-VI Project (PRP-VI). The scope involves lying about 42 km of subsea pipelines and associated subsea works across ONGC’s India’s west coast offshore fields.
